Job summary

Third Bracket in Mumbai seeks a Building Maintenance Person to oversee the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of our facilities. You will coordinate preventive and corrective work, supervise vendors, and ensure compliance with safety standards across electrical, plumbing, and building systems.

You will monitor equipment performance, maintain maintenance records, manage inventories, and respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, while helping control costs and sustaining

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, plumbing or carpentry.
• At least 5 years in building maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, fire safety, pumps, and building management systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of the building, equipment, and common areas.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical, plumbing, fire safety, elevators, carpentry, and civil works.
• Monitor building systems performance and arrange repairs.
• Supervise housekeeping, security, landscaping, and maintenance contractors.
• Maintain maintenance records and equipment history.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.
• Monitor utility consumption and suggest cost-saving measures.
• Coordinate annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) and vendor management.
• Assist in preparing maintenance budgets and controlling expenses.
• Ensure adequate inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
• Prepare maintenance reports for management.

Job Summary
The Building Maintenance Person is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation
maintenance, and safety of the building and its facilities. The role involves coordinating
prevenve and correcve maintenance, supervising vendors, monitoring building systems, and
ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibili¢es

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports for management.

Qualica¢ons

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree / Correspondence Course, in Mechanical, Electrical ,
  Plumbing & Carpentry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance ac¢vi¢es.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, re safety, pumps, and building management
  systems.
• Familiarity with preven¢ve maintenance planning and vendor coordina¢on.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Oce, Excel, maintenance management so¢ware).
