Job summary

CARS24 Australia is expanding its Wholesale Sourcing function, and we are looking for highly driven individuals to join this growing team. You will connect with customers who are looking to sell their vehicles through platforms such as CarSales, Gumtree and other online marketplaces.

Your responsibility will be to identify suitable vehicles, understand the customer's requirements, negotiate and provide competitive offers, and convert successful opportunities into vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Experience in sales, inside sales, automotive, telecalling, customer service or lead generation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with potential vehicle sellers across online marketplaces.

• Qualify vehicles based on buying and sourcing criteria.
• Collect and verify key information such as vehicle condition, kilometres, service history, ownership.

• Negotiate to maximise conversion while maintaining buying margins.
• Follow up with interested customers and move leads through the sourcing funnel.
• Book vehicle inspections after offer acceptance.
• Maintain accurate lead and customer information in internal systems.

In this role, you will connect with customers who are looking to sell their vehicles through platforms such as *CarSales, Gumtree and other online marketplaces*. Your responsibility will be to identify suitable vehicles, understand the customer's requirements, negotiate and provide competitive offers, and convert successful opportunities into vehicle inspections.

This is a *target-driven sales and sourcing role* involving a blend of outbound calling and chat-based customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with potential vehicle sellers across online marketplaces.
• Connect with customers through *phone calls and chat* to understand vehicle details and selling requirements.
• Qualify vehicles based on CARS24 Australia's buying and sourcing criteria.
• Collect and verify key information such as vehicle condition, kilometres, service history, ownership and other relevant details.
• Provide customers with competitive vehicle offers based on internal valuation and market considerations.
• Negotiate professionally with customers to maximise conversion while maintaining buying margins.
• Follow up with interested customers and move qualified leads through the sourcing funnel.
• Book vehicle inspections once the customer accepts the offer.
• Maintain accurate lead and customer information in internal systems.
• Consistently achieve individual and team targets for sourcing, offers, inspections and conversions.
• Work closely with the wider CARS24 Australia team to improve processes and sourcing performance.
