Job summary

Shukla Logistics in India seeks an experienced logistics professional to oversee road transportation operations, focusing on FTL and over-dimension consignments. The role requires a proven managerial background and a strong network of brokers and vehicle owners.

You will manage existing customers and onboard new ones, negotiate costs with brokers, and supervise branch activities including accounts and staff, with daily reporting to the Head Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in road transportation with broker/vehicle-owner base.
• Experience managing a team for at least 2 years.
• Knowledge of placing trailers, open vehicles, containers.
• Strong customer base with ability to onboard new customers.
• Experience dealing with brokers to reduce costs.
• Reporting day-to-day activities to head office.

Responsibilities

• Experience in road transportation handling FTL and over-dimension consignments.
• Lead managerial responsibilities for at least 2 years with a proven track record.
• Knowledge of placing trailers, open vehicles, containers or any type of vehicle.
• Build and manage a strong customer base; onboard new customers as needed.
• Interact with brokers to negotiate lower transport costs.
• Handle all branch-related works including accounts and staff management.
• Report day-to-day activities to the Head Office.

• Have experience in road transportation with handling of FTL and Over dimension Consignments.
• Have an experience in Managerial position for at least 2 years with good track record.
• Have good knowledge and experience in placing trailers, open vehicles, containers or any type of vehicle.
• Have a good customer base. Can handle existing customer and can also onboard new customers
• Dealing with brokers for vehicles and reducing the cost.
• Handling all the branch related works including accounts and handling staff.
• Reporting day to day activities to HO.
