Responsibilities

• Marketing and business development activities for the branch, including customer acquisition and retention.
• Targeting HNI and corporate clients for the branch.
• Conduct weekly investor meets to expand the client base.
• HR activities: staff training, policy communication, discipline and grievance handling.
• Branch operations: monitor pay-ins/payouts, customer grievances, and risk management.
• Report branch performance to the Regional Manager and ensure compliance.

Job description

Branch Head is responsible for all activities done in the branch under him. His/ Her Role includes managing business & personal activities of the branch. Motivating the staffs for achieving targets is his/her key activity. Branch head reports directly to the Regional Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing & Business Development activities

• Customer Acquisition & Retention.
• Targeting HNI and Corporate clients for the branch.
• Competitors Analysis.
• Daily morning meetings and discussions with staff.
• Review of Performance based on various parameters i.e. Monthly review - Revenue per employee, branch profitability, etc. and Weekly review-volumes, brokerage, client registrations, etc. (Equity, Commodity, & Distribution).
• Organizing weekly Investor meets to increase client base.

HR Activities for Branch

• Monthly training programs for staffs (Product related/ Communication Skills/Day-to-day Operations/Risk Management & Compliance) for improving caliber.
• Communicating to employees about the important matters concerning the Company and its Policies.
• Maintaining discipline in the Branch and ensuring compliance.
• Attend to employee grievances and maintain team spirit and camaraderie in the Branch.

Branch Operations

• Monitoring branch activities like pay in/payouts/customer grievance, etc. on daily basis.
• Risk Management of trade errors, debtors, etc.
• Reporting of branch activities to Regional Manager from time to time.

General

Strive towards achieving individual goals and thereby the branch and organizational goals.
