Job summary

Eco Fresh Carbon is seeking an experienced Boiler Operator to manage industrial boilers safely and efficiently. The role involves startup, running, shutdown, and continuous monitoring of pressure, temperature, and water levels, with strict adherence to SOPs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, coordinating with lab for water quality, and ensuring continuous fuel supply. Mandatory boiler competency certification and a male candidate preference are required.

Qualifications

• 25 years of practical experience in industrial boiler operation.
• Experience in a manufacturing, process, chemical, or steam-generation plant is preferred.
• Experience operating boilers of similar capacity, pressure, and fuel type will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial boiler safely as per SOPs.
• Handle boiler startup, normal running, and shutdown.

• Monitor boiler parameters and record readings.
• Ensure proper combustion and uninterrupted fuel supply.
• Operate feedwater pumps, fuel systems, blowers, valves, and other auxiliaries.
• Report any abnormal or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Follow all boiler safety rules and statutory requirements.
• Maintain boiler logs, records, and inspection documents.
• Monitor feedwater quality and coordinate with lab team.
• Perform blowdown as per SOP.
• Prevent scaling, corrosion, foaming, and efficiency loss.

Experience

Candidates with experience in utility operations will be preferred.

Mandatory Certification:

• Valid Boiler Attendant / Boiler Operator Competency Certificate (Tamil Nadu approved).
• Must be certified to operate the specific boiler type and pressure.
• Experience in similar industrial boilers preferred.
