Go Garage / Serveup Autosolution LLP in Pune is seeking an experienced Body Shop Manager to lead the complete 4-wheeler body shop operations, including denting, painting and repair, with focus on productivity, quality and timely vehicle delivery.

The role requires strong team leadership, coordination with service advisors and insurance teams, and hands-on supervision of denters, painters, supervisors, helpers and QC staff to ensure high standards and customer satisfaction.

Formación

• Experience in 4-wheeler body shop operations preferred.
• ITI/ Diploma/ B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering recommended.
• Strong practical knowledge of denting, painting and body repair processes.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day 4-wheeler body shop operations including denting, painting, repair and vehicle restoration.
• Supervise denting technicians, painters, body shop supervisors, helpers, washing and QC teams.
• Plan and allocate jobs according to technician skill, workload and delivery timelines.
• Monitor the complete vehicle repair process from vehicle inspection to final delivery.
• Ensure proper body shop tools, equipment, paint materials and consumables usage and availability.
• Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness and discipline per SOPs.
• Coordinate with service advisors, insurance team, surveyors, customers and spare parts team.
• Handle insurance-related body repair jobs, estimates, approvals and claim documentation.
• Track daily/monthly body shop revenue, productivity, pending jobs, TAT and quality KPIs.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide technical guidance and performance feedback.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Body Shop Manager to manage the complete operations of our 4-wheeler body shop. The candidate will be responsible for body repair, denting, painting, workshop productivity, quality control, manpower management, customer satisfaction, and timely vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day 4-wheeler body shop operations including denting, painting, repair and vehicle restoration.
• Supervise Denting Technicians, Painters, Body Shop Supervisors, Helpers, Washing and QC teams.
• Plan and allocate jobs according to technician skill, workload and delivery timelines.
• Monitor the complete vehicle repair process from vehicle inspection to final delivery.
• Ensure proper denting, painting, welding, panel replacement, fitting and body repair work.
• Monitor workshop productivity, job progress and technician efficiency.
• Ensure proper quality checks at every stage and minimize rework and repeat complaints.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Insurance Team, Surveyors, Customers and Spare Parts Team.
• Handle insurance-related body repair jobs, estimates, approvals and claim documentation.
• Ensure proper use and availability of body shop tools, equipment, paint materials and consumables.
• Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness and discipline as per company SOPs.
• Monitor job cards, repair estimates, parts requirements and vehicle delivery schedules.
• Resolve customer complaints related to body repair, paint quality and delivery.
• Track daily/monthly body shop revenue, productivity, pending jobs, TAT and quality KPIs.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide technical guidance and performance feedback.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, processes and safety standards.

Required Experience

• 4–8 years of experience in an automobile body shop, dealership, multi-brand workshop or accident repair center.
• Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory/managerial role preferred.
• Strong experience in 4-wheeler denting, painting, body repair and accident repair.
• Experience with insurance/accident repair processes will be an advantage.
• Experience managing a team of technicians, painters and body shop staff.

Educational Qualification

• ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Candidates with strong practical experience in 4-wheeler body shop operations may also be considered.
