Job summary

HaritasH Mobility in Haryana seeks a Bodyshop Final Inspector to perform the final quality inspection of repaired vehicles, ensuring OEM standards are met and readiness for delivery with minimal rework. The ideal candidate has 4–5 years’ experience in automobile bodyshop operations, knowledge of denting, painting, and mechanical/electrical systems, and familiarity with DMS/ERP systems.

You will coordinate with Denting, Painting, Mechanical and Bodyshop teams to ensure 100% delivery-ready

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 4–5 years of experience in automobile bodyshop/workshop operations.
• Experience in Bodyshop Quality Inspection / Final Inspection preferred.
• Good knowledge of denting, painting, body repair and vehicle mechanical/electrical systems.
• Knowledge of OEM body repair standards and inspection procedures.
• Basic knowledge of DMS/ERP.

Responsibilities

• Conduct final inspection of vehicles after completion of bodyshop repairs.
• Verify that all jobs mentioned in the Job Card / Repair Order are completed.
• Inspect body panels, paint finish, dents, scratches, gaps, alignment and fitment.
• Check paint shade, colour matching, surface finish, polishing and detailing quality.
• Verify proper fitment of bumpers, lights, doors, bonnet, fenders, trims and other replaced parts.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components wherever repair work has been carried out.
• Conduct road tests wherever required to verify vehicle performance.
• Check for abnormal noise, vibration, warning lights and other functional issues.
• Verify that all insurance-approved repair jobs have been completed correctly.
• Identify incomplete work, quality defects or rework requirements.
• Coordinate with Denting, Painting, Mechanical and Bodyshop teams for rectification.
• Re-inspect vehicles after rectification before final clearance.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and overall presentation before delivery.
• Complete and sign the Final Inspection Checklist.
• Update inspection status in DMS/ERP as applicable.
• Ensure no vehicle is released without proper quality clearance.
• Monitor and reduce rework, repeat repairs and quality complaints.
• Report recurring quality issues to the Bodyshop Manager.
• Ensure compliance with OEM body repair standards, safety procedures and SOPs.

Job Description – Bodyshop Final Inspector

Job Purpose
