Job summary

Tminputs And Services in Bengaluru is seeking a BE Mechanical engineer with 4+ years of Body-in-White design experience to drive BIW design and development.

You will develop BIW components in NX per Daimler methodology, create master sections, perform validations, check interferences, and coordinate with manufacturing, simulation, and vehicle integration to ensure quality and timely delivery.

This role focuses on cost and weight reduction ideas and robust change management to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Product design and development Body-in-White Design
• Development of BIW components and CAD construction in NX with Daimler methodology.
• Master section creation and validations, Benchmarking
• Styling validation for technical requirement.
• Concept proposal, Packaging study, Interference check.
• Understanding of Door mechanisms, Glass, Hinges and Handles
• Creation of joining elements for the assembly
• Generating ideas for cost reduction and weight reduction
• Ensure quality and timelines of every deliverables in the projects.
• Discussion with cross functional teams (CFT) for incorporating feedback eg, Simulation, Manufacturing, Vehicle integration, Corrosion protection and incorporating changes
• J Change Management Qualifications - BE Mechanical with min 4 years' experience in Body-in-White Design Qualifications - BEJ
