Job summary

Aditya Birla Capital is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to drive growth in the gold loan portfolio. You will oversee loan processing, disbursement, renewals, and closures while delivering exceptional customer service at the branch level.

The role requires strong leadership, a background in gold loans, and the ability to manage risk, compliance, and portfolio quality in a dynamic retail banking environment in India.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.
• Typically 5–10 years of experience in Gold Loans.
• Experience in branch management and sales is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive branch business by achieving gold loan disbursement and revenue targets.
• Acquire new customers and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Manage branch operations: loan processing, disbursement, renewals, and closures.
• Ensure accurate gold appraisal and valuation per policies.
• Monitor portfolio quality, collections, and NPAs.
• Ensure RBI guidelines, internal policies, audit and KYC compliance.
• Lead, train, and monitor branch staff to improve productivity and service quality.
• Handle customer grievances and deliver excellent service.
• Maintain branch security, vault management, and operational controls.
