Overview

BIM Modeller – Structures

We are seeking a BIM Modeller to represent BH on ongoing and future projects, primarily in Mumbai. The candidate should demonstrate a strong track record of delivering complex projects for an Engineering Consultancy.

Your next role

As a BIM Modeller your role will be to develop engineering calculations/ sketches into 3D models using advanced modelling tools such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks for clash detection, and Enscape for presentation. You will also set up, manage and coordinate your models/drawings with other engineering disciplines and work closely with the engineering and client teams.

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, with a keen interest in the built environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models from engineering calculations/sketches using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and related tools
• Set up linked models and coordinate models across disciplines
• Follow BIM execution plans and adhere to project documentation
• Ensure models align with BIM project workflow criteria and standards
• Take ownership of models/drawings and work independently or with minimal supervision
• Produce construction drawings and extract data from the discipline BIM platform
• Create discipline-specific BIM modelling content and develop concept ideas into drawing details
• Produce drawing/detail production from engineering sketches/calculations
• Generate Detailed reinforcement drawings and structural steel drawings
• Ensure drawing production follows company standards and review models/drawings for design compliance
• Deliver model/drawing according to project programs with quality and coordinate clash detection/resolution

Skills and Experience

• Confident, proactive character with the ability to lead in challenging situations
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including REVIT Structures
• Good communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and work within a multidisciplinary team
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, or Certificate Course
