BIM Modeller – Structures

We are currently seeking a candidate for BIM Modeller position to represent BH on our ongoing and future projects, primarily in Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering calculations/sketches into 3D models using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Enscape for clash detection and presentation.
• Set up, manage and coordinate models and drawings with other engineering disciplines.
• Work closely with engineering and client teams.
• Set up linked models and coordinate models across disciplines.
• Follow established BIM execution plans and adhere to project‑specific documentation.
• Ensure models align with BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
• Work independently or with minimal supervision and take ownership of models and drawings.
• Create discipline‑specific BIM modelling content.
• Develop accurate construction drawings and extract data based on the discipline BIM platform.
• Translate concept ideas into drawing details and produce detailed reinforcement and structural steel drawings.
• Ensure drawing production follows company standards.
• Review models and drawings for design compliance.
• Ensure delivery of models and drawings to agreed project programmes with quality.
• Perform clash detection, resolution and reporting to ensure coordinated design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total relevant experience, including working in REVIT Structures.
• Extensive experience with Autodesk software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in using BIM authoring tools to provide technical support and mentoring to the project team.
• Understanding of industry‑wide BIM standards.
• Sound knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP services.
• Strong communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Confident, proactive character with ability to take the lead in challenging situations.
• Interest in the built environment.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, or relevant certificate course.
