Job summary

Buro Happold Limited in Hyderabad/Bengaluru is seeking a BIM Modeller – Structures to translate engineering concepts into detailed 3D models using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. You will set up and coordinate models across disciplines and provide technical support to the project team.

The role requires strong experience in BIM for structures, reinforcement and steel drawings, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while delivering drawings on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience in BIM modeling, particularly with Revit Structures.
• Proficient in Autodesk software including Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Sound knowledge of Architectural, Structural, and MEP services.
• Ability to develop discipline-specific BIM content and construction drawings.
• Experience with detailed reinforcement and structural steel drawings.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, or relevant Certificate Course.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering calculations and sketches into 3D models using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Enscape.
• Setup, manage, and coordinate models and drawings across disciplines.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to the project team.
• Create linked models and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Follow BIM execution plans, adhere to project-specific documentation, and ensure the model aligns with BIM Execution Plan and workflow criteria.
• Work independently or with minimal supervision, taking ownership of models and drawings.
• Produce accurate construction drawings and extract data based on the discipline BIM platform.
• Develop concept ideas into drawing details and produce drawing/detail production from engineering sketches and calculations.
• Generate detailed reinforcement drawings and structural steel drawings.
• Ensure drawing production follows company standards and review models/drawings for compliance with design.
• Deliver models and drawings to agreed project programmes with quality.
• Apply knowledge of rebar detailing, clash detection, resolution, and reporting to ensure a coordinated design.

We are currently seeking a candidate for the BIM Modeller position to represent BH on our ongoing and future projects, primarily in Hyderabad / Bengaluru. The individual must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering complex projects for an Engineering Consultancy.
