Job summary

A Senior BIM Coordinator based in Bengaluru will support the delivery of structural BIM packages for projects across the Middle East, UK, US and other global regions. You will lead development of 3D models from engineering sketches using Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks, coordinating with engineers and BIM teams across offices.

The role requires mentoring junior technicians, ensuring delivery to programme and BIM project workflow criteria, and maintaining high standards of quality.

Senior BIM Coordinator – Structures

We are currently seeking candidate for Senior / Associate BIM Coordinator position in Bengaluru to represent BH on our ongoing and future projects globally. This role is suited to a strong Senior/Associate BIM coordinator who will support major building projects across the Middle East, UK, US and other international regions. The successful candidate will lead or coordinate the BIM delivery of complex structural design packages from concept through to detailed design, while also mentoring junior technicians and driving high-quality project delivery.

Your next Role

As a Senior BIM Coordinator based in Bengaluru, your role will be to support the delivery of structural BIM packages for projects across the Middle East, UK, US and other global regions. You will lead the development of 3D models from engineering sketches using tools such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks for clash detection. Working as part of an integrated global team, you will set up, manage and coordinate models and drawings with engineers, BIM teams and other disciplines across different offices, ensuring consistent quality, clear communication and timely delivery. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, proactive and comfortable collaborating remotely with international project teams while maintaining a strong interest in the built environment.

As a capable Senior BIM Coordinator, we would expect you to be able to demonstrate:

• Extensive experience in the use of Autodesk software’s such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD
• Proficient in using BIM authoring tools to provide technical support and mentoring required to the project team.
• Set up linked models and coordinate models across disciplines.
• An understanding of industry wide BIM standards
• Should have knowledge about rebar detailing & 2D & 3D Modelling
• Follow the established BIM execution plans and adhere to project specific documentation.
• Ensure that the model aligns with the standards and goals set in BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
• Capable of working independently or with minimal supervision
• Taking ownership of the model/drawing
• Sound knowledge of Architectural, Structural and MEP services
• Create discipline specific BIM Modelling content.
• Develop accurate construction drawings and extract data based on the discipline BIM platform.
• Able to develop concept ideas into drawing details.
• Drawing/detail production from engineering sketches/calculations
• Proficient in generating Detailed reinforcement drawings and structural steel drawings.
• Making sure drawing production follows company standards.
• Reviewing model/drawings to check compliance with design.
• Responsible for ensuring delivery of model/drawing to agreed project programmes with quality.
• Clash detection, resolution and reporting ensuring a coordinated design.

Your Skills And Experience

• 12–15 years of relevant structural BIM experience, including strong hands‑on experience in Revit Structures.
• Experience with Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo etc is a plus
• Proven ability to coordinate and deliver BIM models and drawing packages for complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Confident, proactive and able to take ownership of deliverables in a fast‑paced work environment by bringing in efficiency
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with international engineering and BIM teams.
• Willingness to guide junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement in BIM delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent relevant technical qualification.
