Job summary

Infosight seeks a Dedicated Senior BIM Engineer with 5+ years of experience to manage BIM processes for large-scale infrastructure projects. The role focuses on BIM execution planning, multidisciplinary coordination, and leveraging Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to improve efficiency and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The candidate will lead the development of BEP遵循 ISO 19650, supervise a team of BIM engineers, and drive best practices across project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BIM for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Development and implementation of BEP/ BIM standards per ISO 19650.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary coordination and documentation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation and management of detailed 3D BIM models for datacentre installations.
• Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks; minimize design conflicts.
• Collaborate with architects, structural and MEP engineers to integrate designs.
• Develop and maintain BIM standards and procedures; mentor junior BIM staff.
• Oversee model quality control and validation; generate information management reports.
• Assist in cost estimation by extracting accurate data from BIM models.

Dedicated Senior BIM Engineer with 5+ years of experience in managing and implementing BIM processes for large-scale infrastructure projects. Proven expertise in developing BIM execution plans, leading multidisciplinary coordination, and leveraging software like Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to enhance project efficiency and deliver high-quality outcomes on schedule and within budget.

Core Competencies & Skills

• BIM Software: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, and other industry-standard BIM/CAD tools.

• Technical Expertise: Clash detection and resolution, 3D/4D/5D modelling and visualization, construction documentation, quantity take-offs, and quality control.

• BIM Management: Development and implementation of BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans (BEP) in accordance with industry best practices (e.g., ISO 19650).

• Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, attention to detail, and leadership abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Project Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction workflows, engineering principles (architectural, structural, MEP), and relevant building codes/standards (e.g., NEC).

Work Experience (Action-Oriented Examples)

• Lead the creation and management of detailed 3D BIM models for complex data centre installations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project specifications.

• Conduct regular clash detection analysis using Navisworks, effectively identifying and resolving over 50 potential design conflicts prior to construction, minimizing rework and project delays.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, structural, and MEP engineers) to integrate designs and facilitate accurate information exchange throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain BIM standards and procedures, providing guidance and technical support to a team of 5 junior BIM engineers and technicians.

• Oversee model quality control and validation processes, producing comprehensive documentation and information management reports for stakeholders.

• Contribute to cost estimation and quantity surveying by leveraging accurate data extracted from BIM models
