Job summary

Hira Walraven Installations Systems is seeking a BIM engineer to prepare coordinated Revit models and shop drawings. You will develop Revit families, perform clash detection, and create models reflecting project specs and site conditions.

Collaborate with design engineers to ensure alignment with objectives and standards, and set up templates for design work to promote consistency and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• Experience using Revit and AutoCAD 2D/3D for coordinated models and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows, clash detection, and design coordination with architects and engineers.
• Site visits to verify conditions and update models as needed.

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare coordinated Revit models and shop drawings.
• Develop Revit families, including generic and parametric families, to accurately represent the components.
• Utilize interference checks and clash detection, resolving clashes as per project requirements.
• Create required families based on project specifications and design requirements.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure alignment with project objectives and standards.
• Set up projects and templates for design work, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• Conduct frequent site visits to understand site conditions and resolve clashes as needed.
• Prepare coordinated Revit models, shop drawings, and as-built drawings to reflect project changes and updates.
• Coordinate models with architectural, interior, and structural designs to ensure integration and functionality.

Preferred candidate profile

• Familiarity with other BIM software and tools.
• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is added advantage.
• Extensive experience with REVIT and AUTOCAD 2D & 3D.
