Job summary

WSP India is seeking a BIM technician to provide CAD/BIM support within the GCC Facades team. The role involves designing aluminum and steel systems, considering waterproofing, insulation, fire barriers, and glazing, and producing BIM models and detailed drawings for multiple projects.

You will report to consultants for project functions and to the line manager for operational matters. Diploma in Civil or Architecture is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide CAD/BIM support as BIM technician for GCC Facades.
• Design aluminum and steel systems considering waterproofing, insulation, fire barriers, glazing.
• Produce BIM models and CAD drawings and develop detailed engineering designs.
• Coordinate with consultants and line manager on project tasks.

Responsibilities

The candidate will work as a BIM technician within the GCC Facades team to provide CAD/BIM support. They will be able to design aluminum and steel systems, considering waterproofing, insulation, fire barriers, glazing systems, and complex aluminum and steel structures. Over time, the candidate will produce BIM models and CAD drawings and develop detailed engineering designs. They may be active on multiple projects simultaneously and will report to consultants for project functions and to the line manager (team leader) operationally.

• Diploma in Civil or Architecture.
