Job summary

Larsen & Toubro-Vyoma in Chennai is seeking an experienced Cloud and Data Center commercial operations specialist to manage PO processing, procurement coordination, and monthly closures. Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end customer PO processing and related transactions in SAP.
• Coordinate Sales Order creation and verify against customer POs.
• Process Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Service Entries in SAP.
• Validate quotations and ensure alignment with approved terms.
• Review contracts, proposals, rate cards, and service periods.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and operational dashboards.
• Monitor contract renewals, subscription periods, and PO balances.
• Ensure activities comply with SOPs and internal controls.

Job description

Manage Cloud and Data Center commercial operations, including customer PO processing, vendor quotation validation, purchase request coordination, service entries, consumption reconciliation, and operational reporting. The role requires close coordination with internal functions, OEMs, partners, vendors, and customers to ensure timely transaction processing, documentation completeness, process compliance, and monthly operational closure.

• Manage end-to-end customer PO processing and related transactions in SAP.
• Coordinate Sales Order creation and verify order details against customer POs.
• Process Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Service Entries in SAP.
• Validate OEM and partner quotations against approved commercial terms.
• Review contracts, proposals, rate cards, service periods, and approval documents.
• Reconcile Cloud and Data Centre consumption reports with contracted services.
• Validate compute, storage, network, backup, software, licence, and managed-service records.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Cloud Operations, OEMs, partners, vendors, and customers.
• Track customer orders, vendor requests, approvals, service entries, and operational closures.
• Follow up on pending quotations, approvals, contracts, and supporting documents.
• Identify and resolve differences in service quantities, pricing, contract periods, and consumption reports.
• Maintain customer-wise and vendor-wise transaction records and supporting documents.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, management summaries, and operational dashboards.
• Maintain order trackers, consumption statements, ageing reports, and pending-action registers.
• Support monthly reconciliation and commercial closure activities.
• Ensure activities are performed in accordance with approved SOPs, contracts, and internal controls.
• Provide supporting records and clarifications for internal and external audits.
• Monitor contract renewals, subscription periods, purchase order balances, and service expiry dates.
• Support commercial forecasting and preparation of periodic consumption summaries.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, reporting, and approval processes.
• Automate operational trackers and dashboards using Advanced Excel and Power BI.
• Coordinate the resolution of customer, vendor, OEM, and partner queries.
• Regular progress updates and highlight critical operational dependencies to management.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• 8-10 years of experience in Cloud/Data Center commercial operations, including PO/SO processing, procurement, vendor coordination, consumption reconciliation, contract management, reporting, audits, and monthly closure.
• Experience in Cloud Services, Data Center Operations, IT Infrastructure Services, Telecom, or Managed Services is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in customer PO, Sales Order, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Service Entry, and vendor coordination processes.
• Experience in managing consumption-based services, subscription models, contracts, quotations, and commercial reconciliation.
• Experience in stakeholder coordination, operational reporting, audits, and monthly closure activities.
