Job summary

Sahrudaya Health Care in Kakinada seeks an experienced billing professional to oversee hospital billing operations, ensure accuracy, timeliness, and policy compliance across OP/IP billing and discharge.

You will coordinate with Consultants, Nursing, Operations, Finance, Insurance/TPA and Corporate teams, drive discharge and estimation TAT, monitor ageing and collections, and provide daily MIS to management.

Must have hospital billing experience and Telugu language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and efficient billing operations with accurate billing and timely payments.
• Ensure accurate, timely and compliant OP/IP billing with minimal errors.
• Monitor day-to-day billing operations, shift-wise performance, deposits, collections and outstanding dues.
• Ensure 100% capture of services/procedures and correct tariff application.
• Drive Discharge TAT, Estimation TAT and timely submission of TPA/Corporate bills.
• Manage TPA & Corporate billing, tariff management, renewals and tariff revisions.
• Handle patient/attendant queries, escalations and billing-related complaints.
• Coordinate with Consultants, Nursing, Operations, Finance, Insurance/TPA and Corporate teams.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and policy adherence.
• Lead and train the billing team to ensure productivity and quality.
• Provide daily MIS and billing performance reports to management.

• Ensure smooth and efficient billing operations, with accurate billing and timely payments in line with hospital policies, tariffs and processes, while maintaining strong coordination across teams.
• Ensure accurate, timely and compliant OP/IP billing with minimal errors and revenue leakage.
• Monitor day-to-day billing operations, shift-wise performance, estimations, deposits, collections and outstanding dues.
• Ensure 100% capture of services/procedures, correct tariff application and timely bill updates through discharge.
• Drive Discharge TAT, Estimation TAT and timely submission of TPA/Corporate bills.
• Manage TPA & Corporate billing, MOU/tariff management, renewals and tariff revisions.
• Handle patient/attendant queries, escalations, payment counselling and billing-related complaints effectively.
• Ensure seamless coordination with Consultants, Nursing, Operations, Finance, Insurance/TPA and Corporate teams.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation, policy adherence and effective control over billing processes.
• Lead, guide and train the billing team to ensure productivity, accuracy, quality and process adherence.
• Monitor billing revenue, collections and outstanding ageing, identifying gaps and corrective actions.
• Provide daily MIS and billing performance reports to management with actionable insight
