Job summary

Shalby Hospitals seeks an experienced Billing Manager to oversee hospital billing operations across IPD, OPD, emergency, and ancillary services. You will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant billing for insurance, TPA, corporate, cash, and self-pay patients, coordinating with multiple departments to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires strong knowledge of revenue cycle processes, documentation for discounts/adjustments, and delivering regular billing MIS and revenue reports to support

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital billing operations and revenue cycle management.
• Strong understanding of IPD/OPD, emergency, pharmacy, diagnostics, and procedure billing.
• Experience with TPA/insurance/corporate/cash/self-pay billing and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete hospital billing operations to ensure accurate, timely billing.
• Oversee IPD, OPD, emergency, pharmacy, diagnostics, and procedure billing.
• Monitor final, discharge, interim, and package billing to ensure accuracy.
• Handle TPA, insurance, corporate, cash, and self-pay billing processes.
• Coordinate with TPA/Insurance teams for approvals, queries, deductions, and claims issues.
• Monitor billing errors, discounts, waivers, refunds, and credit notes; ensure proper documentation for adjustments.
• Coordinate with Finance, Front Office, Medical Records, Insurance/TPA, Pharmacy, Diagnostics, and Clinical departments.
• Monitor outstanding billing issues and support timely revenue realization.
• Prepare and review billing MIS, collection reports, revenue reports, and pending billing reports.
