Job summary

The role covers order processing, payment adjustments, refunds, and ensuring accurate updates across billing and CRM systems. You will work with WHMCS, Hostbill or Zoho CRM, and ticketing tools to track interactions, resolve billing issues, and generate monthly reports.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for managing billing processes, including order processing, payment adjustments, and utilizing automation platforms like WHMCS, ticketing systems, and CRM platforms to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end billing process for web hosting, cloud services, and dedicated server clients.
• Perform payment adjustments, reconcile payment discrepancies, and manage refunds as necessary.
• Support the use of CRM like Hostbill or Zoho platforms for tracking customer interactions and integrating billing details.
• Collaborate with the customer Success team to resolve billing-related issues, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department.
• Track and ensure timely payments and collections, working closely with accounts receivable teams to minimize overdue accounts.
• Process and respond to customer tickets related to billing inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Ensure accurate and timely updates to the billing system and customer accounts.
• Generate detailed reports for financial analysis, including monthly billing summaries and overdue payment reports.
• Stay updated with industry billing trends, best practices, and new tools to improve the overall billing process.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in billing and invoicing processes in a web hosting or cloud services environment /IT industry
• Expertise with WHMCS or similar billing automation platforms.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms, preferably in a technical support or billing context.
• Strong experience with ticketing tools (e.g., Hostbill) for managing customer inquiries and issues.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a strong ability to reconcile accounts and process payments accurately.
• Familiarity with order processing workflows and payment adjustment procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with both technical teams and clients.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and billing compliance standards is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel or similar data management tools for generating billing reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1-2years of experience in billing or finance-related roles in a hosting, cloud, or PaaS environment.
• Experience with WHMCS, CRM platforms, and ticketing systems is highly desirable
