Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Billing Expert to independently execute and coordinate cloud billing activities across multiple scenarios and publishers (Microsoft Cloud, AWS, Google & SoftwareOne Managed Services offerings). The role applies specialised billing knowledge to resolve standard exceptions, ensure accurate financial outcomes, and maintain compliance with controls and processes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven expertise of Cloud billing.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, consultative, and research abilities.
• Ability to research and gather data from multiple sources.
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of cloud billing, order processing, and subscription lifecycle operations.
• Good attention to detail with a focus on billing accuracy, compliance, and data quality.
• Experience managing billing exceptions, corrections, and reconciliations.
• Ability to handle high‑volumes accurately.

• Processes high‑volume billing transactions with guidance and review in line with publisher requirements, service standards, and internal controls.
• Manages billing‑related exception handling to ensure accuracy, compliance, and revenue protection.
• Support continuous improvement through standardisation, automation, and reduction of manual billing exceptions.
• Process sales and purchase orders in line with publisher requirements, service standards, and internal controls.
• Own billing‑related exception handling to ensure accuracy, compliance, and revenue protection.
• Identifies recurring issues and contributes input to process and quality improvements.
