Job summary

Billing Engineer - MEP Vendor Billing

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Billing Engineer specializing in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) vendor billing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate billing for all MEP-related services and materials, verifying vendor contracts, and coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams for cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Vendor Invoice Management: Review and verify vendor invoices for MEP materials, services, and subcontracted work to ensure accuracy in terms of quantities, pricing, and terms. Cross-check vendor invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes, and contracts to validate the amounts. Ensure timely processing and submission of vendor invoices based on contract terms and project milestones.
• 2. Cost Control and Budget Monitoring: Monitor and control costs by ensuring that all MEP vendor bills align with the approved project budget and scope of work. Identify any variations or deviations in costs and highlight them for the attention of the billing manager. Assist in tracking and managing any changes or variations in vendor billing due to project modifications or change orders.
• 3. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain organized and up-to-date files for all vendor billing documents. Prepare regular reports on vendor billing status, pendency, and outstanding invoices for management review. Provide supporting documentation for audits or internal reviews as required.

Note:

Candidates must possess strong technical expertise in MEP systems, particularly HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting. Additionally, they should have hands-on experience in billing activities, including BOQ preparation, contractor/vendor billing, and quantity surveying.
