Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Engineer (Civil) with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Industrial Civil Construction projects. This role involves managing end-to-end billing processesincluding Client Billing, Subcontractor/Vendor Billing, Quantity Estimation, and BOQ preparation. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working with corporate construction organizations and demonstrate strong site measurement, reconciliation, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Billing & Invoicing: Prepare, review, and process Client Bills and Subcontractor/PRW (Piece Rate Worker) Bills in accordance with contract terms and project schedules.
• Measurement & Quantity Surveying: Joint physical measurement at the project site, verify Measurement Books (MB), and prepare accurate Quantity Estimations and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Reconciliation: Perform material reconciliation (steel, cement, aggregate, etc.) against certified work to monitor waste and usage efficiency.
• Documentation & Coordination: Maintain detailed billing tracker logs, rate analysis sheets, amendment records, and work order approvals. Coordinate effectively between site engineering teams, corporate planning, and finance departments.
• Costing & Extra Items: Identify variations, prepare rate analysis for non-BOQ/extra items, and submit claims for extra work or site variations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• Experience: 3 to 5 years strictly in Industrial Civil Construction projects with corporate entities.
• Core Skills:
  • Proficiency in both Client Billing and Subcontractor/Vendor Billing.
  • Strong knowledge of site measurement, BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and material reconciliation.
  • Experience handling both site-based measurement workflows and office/corporate billing documentation.
• Software Tools: AutoCAD, MS Excel (Advanced formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables), and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Highrise, or similar construction ERPs).
• Location Flexibility: Ready to manage site/office billing operations in Surat and Navsari.
