Job summary

Dk-ub-jecpl (jv) is seeking an experienced Billing Engineer for Railway infrastructure projects to prepare, verify, and submit contractor bills in line with tender conditions, approved drawings, specifications, and Railway procedures.

The role requires coordinating with site engineers, project managers, surveyors, and Railway officials to ensure timely certification and payment, while maintaining meticulous records for audit and final settlement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RA Bills, Final Bills, and Supplementary/Variation Bills based on site measurements and work executed.
• Prepare and maintain Measurement Books (MB), Abstract Sheets, Quantity Statements, and reconciliation statements.
• Verify quantities with approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, and site measurements.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Surveyors, and Railway officials for measurement and bill certification.
• Track BOQ quantities, deviations, extra items, and variations and prepare supporting documentation.
• Ensure billing is strictly as per tender conditions, GCC/SCC, Railway specifications, and approved rates.
• Prepare rate analysis and documentation for extra/substituted items and non-schedule items.
• Maintain records of work orders, amendments, approvals, measurement sheets, invoices, deductions, and payments.
• Monitor GST, TDS, royalty, security deposit, retention, and other statutory deductions applicable to bills.
• Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and coordinate with the client for timely certification and payment.
• Prepare monthly billing/progress reports and maintain proper documentation for audit and final account settlement.
