Job summary

Role Description

The Billing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for managing project billing and quantity verification for architectural and construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and updating Bills of Quantities (BOQ), validating quantities from drawings and site measurements, and performing rate analysis in line with project specifications and contracts. The role involves working closely with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing, timely certification of contractor bills, and compliance with contractual terms. The Billing Engineer will also assist in cost monitoring, maintaining billing records and documentation, and supporting budget forecasts and variations reporting.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying skills for accurate measurement and documentation of project work.
• Candidates should possess experience with Billing Systems and Rate Analysis to manage contractor bills, cost comparisons, and pricing structures.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review project data, identify discrepancies, and support cost control and budget tracking.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and billing-related software; familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in architectural, interior, or construction projects will be an added advantage.
