Role Overview

We’re looking for a Content Writer who enjoys researching, thinking, and explaining things clearly - not just filling word counts. This role will have end-to-end ownership of content across brand, performance, CRM, and marketplace touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Strategy & Brand Voice
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with both short-term and long-term marketing goals
  • Own, define, and maintain a unified brand voice across all communication channels
  • Provide strategic inputs for overall marketing planning and execution
  • Optimise content workflows and internal processes to ensure timely and seamless execution
• Content Creation & Optimisation
  • Create, edit, proofread, and publish high-quality, SEO-optimised content across platforms
• Develop and optimise content for:
  • Website & Marketplace Listings
  • Product descriptions and detailed PDP content
  • Titles, bullet points, metadata, and ongoing listing updates
  • Platform-specific optimisation for marketplaces (Nykaa, Tira, Amazon, etc.)
• Marketplace Banner Content
  • Campaign and sale banner copy for marketplaces
  • Brand-led and performance-driven marketplace creatives
  • Alignment of banner messaging with ongoing campaigns and offers
• Blog Content
  • SEO keyword research
  • Long-form educational articles
  • Metadata optimisation
• Email & WhatsApp Marketing (In-House Ownership)
  • Campaign communication for launches, sales, and brand initiatives
  • Lifecycle communication including:
  • Welcome flows
  • Retention and repeat purchase messaging
  • Product education and brand storytelling
  • Subject lines, body copy, CTAs, and content structuring
• Paid Marketing Campaigns
  • Write high-converting ad copy for performance marketing across:
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Google
  • Other paid platforms
• PR & Brand Communication

• Customer Success & Sales Enablement

  • Scripts
  • Sales support and training content
  • Review and approve creatives from designers to ensure alignment with brand messaging and campaign objectives
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with internal marketing and design teams for end-to-end content execution
  • Work hands-on with graphic designers to align static creatives, video creatives, website, campaign, and marketplace banners
  • Review and approve ad creatives, social media visuals, and website, CRM, and marketplace banners
• Retail & Visual Merchandising (VMD)
  • Plan and execute VMD concepts and content for retail activations, in-store branding, events, and offline marketing initiatives
• Leadership & Process Improvement
  • Support team building, training, and SOP development to streamline content operations
  • Mentor junior writers and creators to ensure all output meets SkinBae’s quality and brand standards
  • Continuously improve internal content processes for scalability and efficiency
