Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree or certification in hospitality or bartending preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in 4/5-star hotels, luxury restaurants, or premium bars.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and other beverages as per standard recipes.
• Welcome guests, understand preferences, and provide personalized beverage recommendations.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, presentation, and hospitality.
• Ensure proper setup, cleanliness, and organization of the bar area.
• Maintain adequate stock of beverages, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies.
• Monitor inventory and support stock control and wastage management.
• Handle billing and cash/card transactions accurately as required.
• Follow hotel SOPs, hygiene standards, and food & beverage safety regulations.
• Coordinate with kitchen, service team, and other F&B departments for smooth operations.
• Maintain knowledge of current beverage trends, classic cocktails, and mixology techniques.
• Handle guest feedback and escalation professionally when required.
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol in accordance with hotel policies and regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 25 years of relevant experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or premium bar.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and bar equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good grooming and professional appearance.
• Strong customer-service orientation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
