Role Description

The Barista is a full-time, on-site role based at Habibi’s Cafe & Bistro in Mumbai. In this role, the Barista prepares and serves espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, teas, and other beverages while following café recipes and presentation standards. Daily responsibilities include taking customer orders, operating brewing equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized work area and guest space. The Barista interacts with guests, explains menu items, manages transactions at the counter or POS system, and supports the team during busy service periods. The role also involves restocking supplies, monitoring product quality, and upholding health, safety, and hygiene guidelines.
