Job summary

LTM in Chennai is seeking a Background Verification Associate – Contractor to validate candidate documents and ensure accurate verifications. The role requires 6–12 months of experience or MBA freshers and focuses on maintaining robust records and SLA adherence.

You will work with plant vendors to close in-progress checks, escalate issues when needed, and prepare audit-ready BGV reports. Strong communication and MS Excel skills are essential; Power BI knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and capable of generating ad hoc reports.
• Basic understanding of Background Verification processes.
• Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Validate documents uploaded by candidates for BGV.
• Follow up with candidates for insufficiencies or verifications.
• Coordinate with vendors to close in-progress cases at plants.
• Validate vendor reports and take corrective actions.
• Escalate validation issues to vendor leadership.
• Maintain daily dashboards for assigned cases.
• Adhere to SLAs for case closures.
• Handle queries from candidates, associates, and clients.
• Analyze BGV reports for audit readiness.

Job Role Background Verification Associate – Contractor

• Validate the documents uploaded by the candidate for Background Verification.
• Follow-up with the candidate/associate for Insufficiency/Unable to verify documents.
• Work closely with vendor in plants in closure of in-progress.
• Validate the Vendor reports and take the necessary steps.
• Escalate to Vendor leaderships in case any miss in the validation.
• Maintain the daily dashboards for the assigned cases.
• Adhere to the SLA for the case closure.
• Handling Queries raised by Candidate, Associate & Client
• Analysing the BGV reports for audit preparations.

Skills Required:

• Good oral & written communication.
• Proficient in MS Excel, can prepare ad hoc reports based on requirements.
• Basic understanding on Background Verification.
• Basic knowledge on Power BI will be added advantage(Optional).
