Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Pune, India seeks a Back End Developer with 7–10 years of Java/J2EE experience. You will design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications within an Agile squad, using Spring, Web Services, and relational databases.

You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines, perform code reviews, and collaborate across teams to deliver robust backend solutions in a DevOps‑driven environment.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of hands‑on Java/J2EE development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Java, J2EE and Spring Framework.
  • Experience with SOAP/REST Web Services and messaging (JMS/MQ).
  • Relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL; knowledge of batch processing.
  • DevOps mindset with CI/CD and deployment automation.
  • Experience with app servers like Tomcat or WildFly.

Responsibilities

  • Design and discuss solutions for user stories and tasks.
  • Develop, unit-test, integrate, deploy, maintain and improve software.
  • Perform peer code reviews and participate in Scrum ceremonies.
  • Apply CI/CD best practices; manage tasks and priorities.
  • Collaborate within the squad to meet sprint objectives and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide production support.
