Deutsche Bank AG in Pune, India, seeks a Senior Business & Functional Analyst AVP to support Avaloq core banking requirements, user stories, UAT, and functional testing for EMEA and APAC regions within Private Banking.

The role requires 10+ years in functional testing and requirement analysis, with domain expertise in Wealth Management and core banking processes. You will work at squad level, ensuring end-to-end quality and exploring test automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (written/verbal).
• 10+ years of experience in functional testing and requirement analysis.
• Domain expertise in Wealth Management and core banking processes.
• Experience with backlog grooming, user stories, and UAT ownership.
• Knowledge of test levels including regression testing and integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, plan and design solutions, and provide planning input for solution engineering and development.
• Collect business and techno-functional requirements with business area and interfacing apps, and document them.
• Review and validate requirements on Core banking platform and impacts to upstream/downstream systems.
• Support design and conceptualization of new solution options, outlining impacts and risks.
• Identify potential impacts of changes on existing processes and highlight risks/issues.
• Define testing requirements including test plans, cases, data and interface testing review.
• Execute test cases and resolve functional issues from UAT and user feedback.
• Coordinate UAT with QA team and business area, ensuring alignment with timelines.
• Adhere to architectural standards and development policies; provide post go-live support.
• Perform data analysis as required and liaise with multiple vendors as needed.
