You will develop backend components, ensure performance and reliability, and collaborate with architects to deliver scalable solutions. The role requires strong Java (Spring), experience with ETL, big data tooling, cloud familiarity, and a track record in agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Java-based back end development, real time reporting and batch processing.

Responsibilities

• Understand the programme of work and current state technical landscape within Treasury.
• Accountable for ensuring that the software delivered meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure software adheres to architectural specifications and maintainability; prioritise refactoring with new work.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to deliver component designs.
• Unblock engineers, establish technical standards and resolve architectural challenges.
• Follow agreed development standards and drive high level estimates and release planning.
