Job summary

Proventeq is seeking an experienced Azure Support Engineer to join our managed support services team. You will provide L1 and L2 support for Azure PaaS and IaaS services, ensuring seamless operation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving Azure issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining best practices documentation for Azure support.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years proven experience in supporting Azure PaaS services.
• Strong understanding of Azure services including Compute, Data Services, Integration, Security, and Monitoring.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Support Engineer to join our managed support services team. The ideal candidate will provide L1 and L2 support for a range of Azure PaaS and IaaS services, ensuring seamless operation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Support (L1 and L2), manage, and maintain Azure-based PaaS and IaaS services
• Monitor, Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and best practices for Azure support.

Required Skills

• 2 to 5 year proven experience in supporting Azure PaaS services.
• Strong understanding of Azure services including:
• Compute (e.g. App Services, Functions, Kubernetes/AKS, Container Apps, Virtual Machines)
• Data Services (e.g. SQL Database, Data Factory, Databricks, Lakehouse, Synapse Analytics, Fabric, Blob/File Storage)
• Integration (Service Bus, Event Hub, Event Grid)
• Security (e.g. Key Vault, Entra ID)
• Monitoring (e.g. App Insights, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills/Knowledge

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer).
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Experience with SaaS services such as Logic Apps, Power BI, Power Apps/Automate, DevOps deployment, and Office 365 configuration.
