Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an Azure Linux Tower Lead to join the Bengaluru/Chennai team. The candidate will administer Linux/Solaris environments and manage cloud platforms across Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Experience with Ansible and Puppet, plus storage and backup governance, is essential. The role focuses on performance monitoring, issue resolution, and scalable cloud operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong Linux administration across RedHat and Solaris.
• Hands-on cloud experience with Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Proficiency with Ansible and Puppet automation tools.
• Storage, backup, and disaster recovery skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux/Solaris environments (RedHat 8.x/9.x, Ubuntu 20.04/22.04, Solaris 11).
• Manage Azure, GCP, AWS infrastructures and related services.
• Configure and maintain ANSIBLE and Puppet configurations.
• Handle patching, vulnerability management, and backups.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot application issues.
• Manage storage volumes and disk resizing.
• Troubleshoot hardware and network issues (NSG, LB, health probes).
• Coordinate with cloud strategy and transformation initiatives.

• Installing and configuring Solaris/Linux Operating Environment
• Troubleshooting the boot related problems
• VERITAS volume manager
• Solaris volume manager
• Patch and Vulnerability Management for Linux and Unix
• Restoring corrupted file system
• Troubleshooting the applications related issues
• Monitoring and analyzing the system performance
• Managing the Storage Volumes
• Troubleshooting hardware related issue
• Troubleshooting backup related issue
• Administration of Azure, GCP, AWS, Puppet and Ansible
• Managing Servers which are hosted in Azure and GCP Infra
• NSG - Network security groups
• LB Creation, Creating Health probes, Adding the servers to Backend pool
