Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru is seeking a senior Azure Windows Admin Lead for an onsite walk-in interview. The role requires 8 to 16 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, Azure Compute and Storage, and Windows VM management.

You will lead deployments, optimize performance, and guide customers on best practices. The position focuses on configuring VMs, scale sets, encryption, and efficient storage operations, aligning with TCS Cloud’s AI-first strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and Windows administration.
• Hands-on with Windows VMs in Availability Sets and load balancing.
• Experience with VM scale sets and auto-scaling rules.
• Familiarity with encryption using BitLocker (Windows) and DM-Crypt (Linux).
• Proficiency with Storage performance tuning and IOPS guidance.
• Knowledge of Storage Explorer, azcopy, PowerShell, and CLI tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage Azure infrastructure including Compute and Storage services.
• Create and manage Windows VMs in Availability Sets; configure traffic load balancing.
• Manage VM scale sets with auto-scaling rules.
• Handle Azure Disk Encryption using BitLocker and DM-Crypt across OSes.
• Guide customers on Storage usage and performance optimization.
• Operate Azure Storage via Storage Explorer, azcopy, PowerShell, and CLI.

• Building Infrastructure on Azure Cloud which involves configuring\managing Compute and Storage services..

• Creating\Managing Windows Virtual Machines Scale Set with more granular auto-scaling rules
• Manage Azure Disk Encryption using Bit locker in Windows and DM-Crypt in Linux OS.
• Closely worked on both Windows Compute (VMs) and Storage Performance.
• Guide customers regarding usage and performance on Storage and IOPS.
