Job summary

Persistent Systems invites an experienced AWS Specialist to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud environments, focusing on automation, modernization, and operational excellence. The role requires hands-on AWS, containers, IaC, and DevOps practices across enterprise apps.

You will lead CI/CD pipelines, cloud provisioning, and observability while ensuring security and compliance across cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Pune-based with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Automation, or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure and/or GCP cloud platforms.
• Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates).
• Knowledge of Ansible, Puppet, and Chef for configuration management.
• Monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog; Git for version control.

We are looking for an experienced AWS Specialist with strong expertise in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD Automation, and Platform Engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud environments while driving automation, infrastructure modernization, and operational excellence. This role requires hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, containerization technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), monitoring platforms, and DevOps best practices to support enterprise-grade applications and platforms.

What You'll Do:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 8-12 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Automation, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud platforms.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates.
• Experience with configuration management tools including Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, and Cloud Monitoring Services.
• Strong understanding of version control systems, especially Git.
• Good knowledge of operating systems, networking, security principles, load balancing, DNS, and cloud architecture.
• Experience working with microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Candidates with a BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA from a recognized university are preferred.
