Job summary

Persistent is seeking an AWS Solutions Architect to design, build, and govern scalable cloud-native solutions in Pune. You will guide engineering teams and champion GenAI-enabled platforms using Amazon Bedrock, with a focus on security, scalability, and cost optimization.

Required 8 to 12 years of experience in AWS, plus hands-on work with core services and IaC. This full-time role supports hybrid work arrangements in Pune, India.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in a Programmer (Dev) or similar role.
• Hands-on AWS Cloud and Bedrock expertise.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Equivalent practical experience in cloud architecture and software development may also be considered.
• Additional certifications in AWS Cloud, AI/ML, or related domains are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end AWS cloud architectures.
• Architect GenAI solutions using Amazon Bedrock.
• Design workflow automation using AWS Step Functions, Lambda, and EventBridge.
• Ensure security, scalability, and cost optimization across AWS workloads.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
• Maintain hands-on work with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC).

About Position

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Solutions Architect with strong expertise in AWS Cloud, Amazon Bedrock, and workflow automation to design, build, and govern scalable, secure, and intelligent cloud-native solutions. The role involves architecting GenAI-enabled platforms and guiding engineering teams on AWS best practices.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement end-to-end AWS cloud architectures
• Architect GenAI solutions using Amazon Bedrock
• Design workflow automation using AWS Step Functions, Lambda, and EventBridge

• Required Skills Qualifications Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC)

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform)
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or Node.js
• Certifications (Mandatory) AWS Certified AI Practitioner AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional AWS Cloud Certified (Associate or equivalent) Nice to Have Experience with RAG architectures and vector databases
• AWS specialty certifications (Security, Machine Learning)
