Job summary

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Engineering with Project Management experience.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in facilities and property management with significant exposure to critical systems.
  • Proven track record in vendor management and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in managing transport logistics and operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or IFMA credentials are a plus.
  • Strong ownership, ability to work under pressure, and flexibility to support off-hour / shift.
  • HVAC, Power Systems, Vendor Management, Safety & Compliance, and Energy.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a business partner to local business units and the global Admin Services management team.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Admin Services Senior Management to lead short- and long-range planning, space management, and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory norms and best practices, maintaining documentation and generating timely reports.
  • Oversee critical and environmental systems for Pune sites, ensuring global standards are upheld.
  • Identify operational risks and ensure robust business continuity and emergency response procedures are in place.
  • Carry out business continuity duties for India operations in alignment with corporate protocols.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives across India sites and report accordingly.
  • Maintain Health & Safety processes and ensure statutory compliance across locations.
  • Manage sustainability data and coordinate annual finance requests related to reinstatement and insurance accounting.
  • Lead financial planning and budget management with Admin Services Finance.
  • Form and manage contracts, ensuring commitments are met.
  • Provide timely reporting to executive management on site activities and costs.
  • Work with Design/Construction to ensure timely delivery of office build-outs.
  • Ensure readiness of facilities for operations launches and ongoing support.
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations and vendor SLAs.
  • Liaise with government departments for permits, inspections, and compliance.
  • Proactively develop and implement process improvements and special projects.

This position is responsible for short- and long-range planning and implementation of Facilities Operations, Critical Systems, and infrastructure projects that meet corporate needs and objectives, adhering to budget and schedule requirements for AB. The role demands deep technical expertise in managing UPS systems, utilities, and property assets, along with strong leadership in vendor governance, transport operations, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate operational precision, stakeholder alignment, and the ability to drive workplace excellence in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Operational Leadership
  • Act as a business partner to local business units and the global Admin Services management team

3. Sustainability & Compliance
  • Drive sustainability initiatives across India sites in line with corporate goals and reporting requirements
  • Maintain Health & Safety processes and ensure statutory compliance across all locations
  • Manage sustainability data and coordinate annual finance requests related to reinstatement and insurance accounting
4. Financial & Contract Management
  • Lead financial planning and budget management in collaboration with Admin Services Finance
  • Form and manage contracts, ensuring financial, statutory, policy, and contractual commitments are met
  • Provide timely reporting to executive management on site-level activities, costs, and progress
5. Project & Workplace Readiness
  • Work with Design/Construction Project Managers to ensure timely and quality delivery of office build-outs
  • Ensure readiness of facilities for operational launch and ongoing support
6. Vendor & Administrative Oversight
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations and support teams
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure performance against SLAs
7. Liaise with government departments including:
  • Electricity Boards
  • Labor Offices
  • Municipal Corporations
  • Fire Safety Authorities
  • Pollution Control Boards
  • Local statutory bodies for permits, inspections, and compliance
8. Process Improvement & Special Projects
  • Proactively develop and implement methods, procedures, and workflow efficiencies to maintain high standards of quality and productivity
  • Complete special projects or additional duties as assigned by Corporate Management
