Job summary

Crescendo Global Leadership Hiring India is seeking an AVP for Front Office Application Support in Mumbai. You will own the incident management for key front-office investment applications, work with internal teams and external partners, and drive continuous service improvements while ensuring compliance and audit standards.

You will collaborate with business users to understand challenges, prioritize the front-office work pipeline, and ensure rapid resolution of issues across multiple time

Qualifications

• Must have 10–12 years of total experience, preferably in Asset Management.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office investment platforms.
• Experience with incident management and delivering high-quality services.
• Ability to analyse trade data, logs, and troubleshoot issues.
• Understanding of FIX messages and market data sources.

Responsibilities

• Own Incident Management for Front Office applications.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional to take ownership of Front Office application support.

In this role, you will act as the service owner for our key Investment applications. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality support, resolve issues quickly, and continuously improve services while ensuring we meet all audit, compliance, and regulatory standards.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with the Front Office Application Support team
• Take ownership of Incident Management for Front Office applications
• Drive service improvement initiatives
• Help prioritize the Front Office work pipeline
• Work across different time zones (including some weekend support for critical activities)
• Partner with business users to understand their challenges and improve their daily workflows
• Promote the effective use of our core Front Office investment platform
• Understand the full Trade Life Cycle and prioritize issues based on business impact
• Maintain proper logs, track issues, and document solutions
• Prepare and share Management Information (MI) for regional service reviews
• Participate in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Failover activities
• Resolve queries related to critical applications (core investment platform, Bloomberg, WSO, etc.)

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills

• Good understanding of the Investment / Trade Life Cycle
• Knowledge of Front Office investment platforms and their key components
• Familiarity with Trading platforms & OMS/EMS (Bloomberg, MarketAxess, TradeWeb, etc.)
• Ability to analyse trade data, logs, and troubleshoot issues
• Basic understanding of FIX messages
• Knowledge of Market Data sources (Bloomberg, Reuters, Eikon, etc.)
• Understanding of different Financial Asset Classes
• Awareness of Market Regulations

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience supporting Front Office applications
• Knowledge of ITIL practices
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence
• Logical thinking and eagerness to learn

Experience Required

• 10–12 years of total experience (preferably in Asset Management)
• At least 5 years in Service Management / Application Support
• Experience working in fast-paced, agile, and cross-functional teams
