Hiring: Automotive Change Management / BOM Analyst
We are looking for an experienced professional with 48 years of experience in Automotive / Engineering Change Management.

- AI and LLM advantageous
- Strong working knowledge of Ford change control systems and terminology (WERS, FEDEBOM, BOM, CMM, PDL, EDMS, MMA, NTEI).
- Experience in Bill of Material structuring, change management, or P-Release processes within an automotive/engineering environment.
- Strong analytical skills to investigate BoM errors, perform root-cause analysis, and translate insights into recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills across Engineering, Finance, HWIM, and Purchasing.
- High attention to detail for financial audit control, quality checks, and ISO/EDMS compliance documentation.
- Ability to work to strict cadences and deadlines, providing mutual cover with peers for CMM and related meetings.
Preferred candidate profile
- Lead the tracking, analysis, and implementation of all post-FDJ program changes through defined processes and cadences, participating in relevant review meetings (e.g. CMM Change Management Meeting).
- Develop and implement BoM structuring strategies, ensuring accuracy of modularity and bailment, and alignment across all build phases; partner with HWIM/CVS teams on audits and validation.
- Partner with the Dunton PM lead to guide programs through a successful P-Release phase, leading/participating in review meetings and workshops.
- Lead cross-functional alignment meetings for Change Management, BoM structuring, and P-Release; consolidate and present BoM and cost status reports; identify and implement process improvements.
- Support delivery of Change Control and BoM KPIs, challenge assumptions, ensure data quality, and represent the team in management reviews and stakeholder engagement.
- Generate and maintain daily and ad hoc Concern/Notice trackers; coordinate launch team tracker requests with Dunton LL6.
- Follow up offline on open engineering changes with stakeholders (Engineering, Finance, HWIM, Purchasing, etc.) and liaise with PVT on running changes.
- Perform financial audit control, uploading 2-pagers and linked CRQs to SharePoint and EDMS for ISO compliance.
- Resolve Concern/Notice issues with affected functions in a timely manner; perform Concern quality checks with HWIM/Dunton PM and Engineering.
- Lead colour releasing work with PPM; identify and escalation misalignments between PDL and releasing strategy with the PM CM analyst.
- Investigate BoM errors using PPM Empress reports to establish root cause; populate Concerns on behalf of Engineering in support of fast-track processes.
- Support P-release meetings/workshops; check service releases for correct authority, part class, and service indicator accuracy.
- Develop change management tools (e.g. CR quality/ageing analysis), provide ageing/churn/NTEI analysis for senior leadership, and build new tools for BoM error detection and WERS data analysis (including macros).
