Job summary

Onward Technologies in Bengaluru seeks a BOM Engineer with hands-on Teamcenter PLM, EBOM/MBOM, ECN/ECR, and Creo experience to create, maintain and manage BOMs across the product lifecycle.

The role requires ensuring data accuracy, collaborating with Design, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, and driving change control and configuration management for new product introductions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update EBOM and MBOM in Teamcenter.
• Manage and implement ECR/ECN processes.
• Ensure BOM structure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams for BOM releases and updates.
• Support PLM activities using Teamcenter PLM.
• Validate CAD structures and BOM alignment with design engineers.
• Perform BOM comparison, reconciliation, and configuration management activities.
• Create and maintain product structures, part classifications, and document relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement in BOM governance and change management.
• Support new product development and engineering change implementation activities.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled BOM Engineer with hands-on experience in Teamcenter PLM, EBOM, MBOM, ECN/ECR management, and Creo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing engineering and manufacturing BOMs while ensuring product data accuracy and smooth change management processes throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update Engineering BOM (EBOM) and Manufacturing BOM (MBOM) in Teamcenter.
• Manage and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
• Ensure BOM structure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams for BOM releases and updates.
• Support product lifecycle management activities using Teamcenter PLM.
