Job summary

Segula Technologies India in Chennai, India seeks an MBOM Engineer for a permanent full-time role at senior level.

You will create and maintain M-BOMs based on E-BOMs and drawings, convert structures for manufacturing readiness, and ensure accurate part numbers and revisions. You will coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Production teams.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience at senior level.
• Bachelor degree required in engineering or related field.
• Location: Chennai, India.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain M-BOMs based on E-BOMs and engineering drawings.
• Convert E-BOM structures into manufacturing-ready BOM structures.
• Ensure correct part numbers, quantities, revisions, and configurations.
• Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Production teams.
• Define assembly structures, sub-assemblies, and manufacturing sequences.
• Identify and resolve BOM discrepancies, missing parts, duplicates, and revision issues.
• Support ECO/ECN changes in M-BOMs.
• Maintain BOM accuracy in PLM/ERP systems such as Teamcenter, Windchill, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Support production during NPI and product launches.
• Review drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Ensure M-BOMs reflect actual shop-floor processes.
• Participate in BOM audits and continuous-improvement activities.
• Prepare BOM reports and maintain proper documentation.
