Job summary

Capco is hiring an Automation Tester in India with 2-5 years of software testing experience. The role requires strong Manual Testing, API Testing, and SQL skills, plus exposure to automation tools like Selenium with Java, TestNG, Cucumber, and Playwright.

Location options include Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Gurugram. You will work in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence, designing and executing test plans, and validating APIs and backend data.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of software testing experience.
• Strong expertise in Manual Testing, API Testing, and SQL testing.
• Exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and Agile/Scrum practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and execute test cases and test scenarios for web-based applications.
• Perform Functional, SIT, Regression, and UAT Testing to ensure product quality.
• Validate APIs using testing tools and perform backend validation through SQL queries.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners in an Agile environment.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, test planning, and release activities.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Database Testing (SQL), along with exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks.

Preferred

• Exposure to automation framework development.
• Experience working in Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services domains.
• Understanding of CI/CD and modern QA practices.
