Appfabs Incorporation is seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong Playwright expertise to develop scalable automation solutions across UI, API, and data workflows. The role emphasizes AI-assisted testing, Salesforce automation, and Azure DevOps integration.

You will build and maintain automation frameworks, enhance test coverage, and collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure high software quality. Strong C#/Python skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of software QA with hands-on automation.
• Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong Playwright experience and UI/API/DB automation.
• Experience with Salesforce automation and complex file-processing apps.
• Programming in C#, Python or similar; .NET is a plus.
• Experience with AI-assisted development/testing tools and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Automate Salesforce workflows and regression tests.
• Create reusable automated tests for UI, API, database, functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Automate complex file-processing workflows with data integrity checks.
• Develop automated data-validation and reconciliation scripts.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, automation framework

development, AI-assisted testing, and Azure DevOps. The candidate will develop scalable automation solutions, improve test

coverage, and ensure software quality across UI, API, database, and file-processing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Automate Salesforce workflows and regression tests.
• Create reusable automated tests for UI, API, database, functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Automate complex file-processing workflows, including validation of file formats, layouts, sizes, content, and data integrity.
• Develop automated data-validation and reconciliation scripts.
• Use AI-assisted tools for test-case generation, script development, maintenance, optimization, and failure analysis.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and maintain execution reports.
• Perform API testing using Postman or equivalent tools and database validation using SQL.
• Troubleshoot failures and improve automation stability, reliability, and coverage.
• Maintain test documentation and collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in software QA, with strong hands-on automation expertise.
• Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch and enhancing existing frameworks.
• Strong practical experience with Playwright.
• Experience with Salesforce automation and complex file-processing applications.
• Programming proficiency in C#, Python, or a similar language; .NET experience is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and testing tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, ChatGPT Enterprise, or equivalent.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline integration, test execution, and reporting.
• Experience in UI, API, database, and integration automation.
• Knowledge of SQL, Git, Postman, and development environments such as Visual Studio or VS Code.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Selenium and/or Katalon Studio.
• Knowledge of large-volume file validation and automated data reconciliation.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure cloud services, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Jira, and JMeter.
• Experience with automation metrics and continuous quality improvement.
