Job summary

Parker Hannifin India Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai seeks an automation engineer to troubleshoot and maintain PLC, SCADA, servo systems, VFDs, and robotic applications. The role covers CNC/VMC maintenance and development of laser marking and vision systems, with hands-on LabVIEW work.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with 6-axis robots, and capability to coordinate with cross-functional teams for automation improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in troubleshooting PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
• Knowledge of SCADA interfacing and interlocks.
• Understanding of electrical/electronic circuits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and maintenance of PLC, SCADA, and Servo systems.
• Handling VFDs, electrical control panels, CNC, and VMC machines.
• Development and troubleshooting of laser marking systems and vision systems.
• Servo modification and servo troubleshooting.
• Working with LabVIEW for automation and testing applications.
• Hands-on experience with 6-axis robots and sticker printers.
• Managing spares inventory and spare parts planning.
• Ensuring minimum downtime through proactive maintenance and root cause analysis.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve automation-related issues.
• Supporting new automation developments and continuous improvements.
