AtmosPower Pvt. Ltd. seeks an experiencedInstrumentation professional to own the complete instrumentation scope of projects—from engineering to commissioning and after-sales troubleshooting.

You will develop Siemens PLC programs (S7-1200/1500) using TIA Portal, configure WinCC HMIs, and ensure robust I/O mapping and documentation. Expect field testing, FAT/SAT, and hands-on PLC integration with Profinet/Modbus networks.

Qualifikationen

• BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics.
• Minimum 23 years of hands-on Siemens PLC programming.
• Proficient in TIA Portal / STEP 7 using Ladder (LAD), Function Block Diagram (FBD) and Structured Control Language (SCL).
• Experience in HMI/SCADA development; Siemens WinCC preferred.
• Working knowledge of Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, 420 mA / HART signals, PID loops and VFD integration.
• Able to read P&IDs, loop diagrams and panel wiring drawings; has commissioned at least one PLC system at site.

Aufgaben

• Set up PLC communication with third-party equipment (VFDs, gas analysers, compressors, skid panels) over Profinet/Modbus.
• Test PLC and HMI logic by simulation and FAT; support I/O checks, loop checks and SAT at site.
• Commission control systems at site and tune sequences and control loops during start-up with process team.
• Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for running plants; diagnose faults and implement program changes.
• Support instrumentation team on field instrument configuration and control panel drawing review.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation professional to own the complete instrumentation scope of our projects, from engineering and procurement support through inspection, commissioning and after-sales troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Siemens PLC programs (S7-1200 / S7-1500, TIA Portal) for plant sequences, valve-switching cycles, PID loops, alarms and interlocks, based on the approved control philosophy and cause-and-effect matrix.
• Configure HMI/SCADA screens (Siemens WinCC or equivalent): mimics, alarms, trends, data logging and reports.
• Prepare the PLC hardware configuration and I/O mapping from the project I/O list; maintain program documentation, version history and backups for every plant.
• Set up communication between the PLC and third-party equipment such as VFDs, gas analysers, compressors and packaged skids over Profinet and Modbus RTU/TCP.
• Test PLC and HMI logic by simulation and during control panel FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing); support the instrumentation team in I/O checks, loop checks and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) at site.
• Commission control systems at site and tune sequences and control loops during start-up with the process team.
• Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for running plants, including fault diagnosis and program changes.
• Support the instrumentation team on field instrument configuration and control panel drawing review.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics.
• Experience: Minimum 23 years of hands-on Siemens PLC programming.
• Proficient in TIA Portal / STEP 7 using Ladder (LAD), Function Block Diagram (FBD) and Structured Control Language (SCL); able to write a program from a control philosophy, not only modify existing code.
• Experience in HMI/SCADA development; Siemens WinCC preferred.
• Working knowledge of Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, 420 mA / HART signals, PID loops and VFD integration.
• Able to read P&IDs, loop diagrams and panel wiring drawings; has commissioned at least one PLC system at site.

Preferred Experience

• Background from industrial automation companies or system integrators, or from process-plant OEMs and EPCs in oil & gas, chemicals, water & wastewater, power or industrial gases.
• Experience with sequence-based logic (valve-switching or batch cycles) and plants handling flammable gases.
• Exposure to other PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Delta) and AutoCAD.
