Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• 0-4 years of professional drafting/design experience using AutoCAD.
• Strong proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modeling in AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and architectural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage 2D and 3D models for mechanical and architectural projects using AutoCAD.
• Develop and modify technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, site layouts, and machine part assemblies.
• Convert concept sketches and PDFs into accurate CAD files.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop, test, and validate new product designs.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and drafting standards.
• Plan and conceptualize mechanical designs for new products and components.
• Support drafting tasks using Inventor or SolidWorks as needed.
