Job summary

M/S Window Techs India is seeking a Junior AutoCAD Designer to support our design team with 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and technical documentation. This is a great entry point to develop skills under guidance from senior designers in Design & Engineering.

You will prepare drawings, revisions, and fabrication-related drawings while aligning with project requirements, templates, and codes. This role offers hands-on learning in a collaborative environment on-site in Rajasthan, India.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI/B.E. in Mechanical, Civil, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D (3D modeling knowledge is a plus).
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D drawings, layouts, and drafts using AutoCAD based on inputs from senior designers.
• Make revisions to existing drawings as per client or internal feedback.
• Assist in preparing shop drawings, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Support the estimation and production teams with accurate drawings and specifications.
• Maintain proper version control and organized filing of all drawing files.
• Coordinate with senior designers and engineers to understand project requirements.
• Ensure drawings adhere to company standards, templates, and relevant codes.
• Learn and gradually take ownership of small design tasks under supervision.
