Job Summary

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative AutoCAD Designer to create accurate technical drawings and plans. The role requires collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality 2D and 3D designs across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with engineering, architectural, and project teams to understand project requirements.
• Modify and revise existing drawings to accommodate design changes.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and guidelines.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.
• Conduct field/site visits to gather measurements or verify dimensions.
• Assist in preparing BOM (Bill of Materials), assembly drawings, and documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering (or related field).
• 1+ years of proven experience as AutoCAD Designer/Draughtsman.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of additional design software such as Revit, SolidWorks, or SketchUp is a plus.
• Certification in AutoCAD software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of local construction/design codes and standards.
• Industry-specific experience (e.g., HVAC, architecture, mechanical components, electrical layout).
