The Attending Consultant – Anesthesia provides senior-level anaesthesia services and clinical leadership for surgical, diagnostic, emergency, and high-risk procedures. The oversees pre-operative evaluation, anaesthesia planning, intra-operative management, post-operative recovery, and supervision of junior anaesthesia staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments for routine and high-risk patients.


• Develop and supervise individualized anaesthesia plans.


• Administer or supervise appropriate general, regional, and other anaesthesia techniques.


• Provide advanced airway management and perioperative critical-care support.


• Monitor and manage patients throughout surgical and diagnostic procedures.


• Lead the management of anaesthesia-related emergencies and resuscitation.


• Supervise Senior Residents and junior anaesthesia personnel.


• Manage complex and high-risk anaesthesia cases.


• Provide post-operative pain management and recovery-room oversight.
